actually the best posters predicted right as cotto was winning up to the point he got hurt really bad..and resort to fighting backwards more often. Chin is a huge factor and i think what the best posters overlook at was margo's chin. Cotto was doing the right thing imo, everyone knows cotto also has power and prior to the fight i can assume that most probably thought that cotto and margarito are in the same level in terms of punching power or margarito edging a bit more.

The gameplan was right, margo was getting hit a lot right in the head and i can again assume that most probably thought that sooner or later cotto would break him down with the accumulated punches.
