He seems like a good athlete but he needs to improve his punch output.
that was a year ago - since then he's beaten everyone there was to beat in the ams. was the biggest thing to a gold medal cert we've ever had, but he was unable to make the weight.
The guy is for real - he's just turned pro i believe, and if you get chance to watch him fight - take it.

Looked like the ropes saved him from going down about 1.30 in
that was a year ago - at the start of his major dominance in his weight class. it's a crying shame he was unable to make weight at the olympics - he'd have been one of the stars.

There is no doubt Gavin would have been in the medals in Beijing had he made the weight, already proving he could beat the worlds best in Chicago 2007. Whether he can replicate similar form in the professional ranks is open to debate. The technical gulf between amateur & professional boxing has never been wider.

Nah, obviously it's Kell Brook.
Good call. Kells always seemed to have the talent but wasn't fighting that often. Great win last time out and his career seems to have direction again now.
Also Rendell Munroe is making good progress along with Paul Appleby.
VINA DEL MAR, Chile (Reuters) - Center-left world leaders including Britain's Gordon Brown and Brazil's Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on Saturday called for global financial reforms at next week's G20 summit, but the U.S. warned against over-regulation.
Meeting in the Chilean coastal resort of Vina del Mar in a pre-G20 warm-up, Brown, Lula, host Chilean President Michelle Bachelet and Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero said deep financial reforms were vital to avert a another financial meltdown.
"The whole world is paying the price for the collapse of a reckless venture of those that have turned the world economy into a gigantic casino," Lula told fellow leaders in a roundtable discussion.
"We are rejecting blind faith in the markets."
Brown said the G20 summit in London had to focus on concrete ways to revive growth and create jobs while protecting the environment and the world's poor.
"We have got to be very clear that banking cannot be unsupervised any more; there's got to be cross border supervision," he said, calling for an overhaul of the system of international finance and coordinated policies to help underpin sustainable growth.

"We should not over-react. It is not a choice of markets or governments," Biden said. "A free market still needs to be able to function."
Thousands of people marched in Britain, France, Germany and Italy on Saturday to protest the economic crisis and urge world leaders to act to reduce poverty, create jobs and avert climate change at the G20 summit.

"We have to democratize the economy, globalization and the financial system. How to do this? We already know: with information, transparency and responsibility," Zapatero said.

The fuck?
What about Billy Joe Saunders? I think he has more potential than Gavin.
hey ishy!!!! it's Iron Fist Joe (You probably don't know me) from ESB.
BJS... He's flashy, really good... I just think Frankie proved himself that he was the best in the world - just was unlucky at the Olympics... It wouldn't surprise me if all 3 of Warren's "Olympians" mirrored each others career for a long time.
It'd be interesting to know if they can take punches.. Their fundamentals and skills are all very good - if they can take the shots - I'd expect them all to be at least world titlists.

if he was in the olympics he would of finished out of the medal rounds,he has not fight anyone that the top 3 at the olympics have, and as a pro if he does not train harder he will not fare any better than most of the fighters from that country:33:
