Hi all,

We’ve noticed that there’s lots of comments and speculation about Primetime around on message boards so wanted to introduce ourselves and be available to answer any questions. Primetime came about after our production team of boxing fans had had enough of British fighters not being recognised. Our MD caught wind that the Froch V Dirrell fight was struggling for a UK broadcast partner and began to look into whether we could launch a channel in time for the first Super Six bout. Thanks to our partners at Hennessy and help through some other big names from the boxing world, the moons aligned and here we are today. Primetime is currently showing clips of the last two Froch fights free to air every evening between 7-10pm and getting ready for an awesome live fight night this Saturday.
At the moment we are gauging the public’s response to Primetime and looking into launching across further platforms other than Sky for future events. In the mean time we WILL be streaming the fight live via Carl Froch Vs Andre Dirrell Live Boxing Primetime Sky 480 (http://www.primetimelive.co.uk) <http://www.primetimelive.co.uk> on 17th for all of those who don’t have the Sky platform. We simply haven’t had enough time to launch on other platforms yet.
We are committed to bringing these fights which have been overlooked by other channels to the wider British public and will also look to broadcast and stream other sports, comedy and live shows in the future. Simply because some events you can’t afford to miss.

Please feel free to PM us here, comment in the forum or contact us at support@primetimelive.co.uk with any questions you have or want answering. You are the fans, we’re here to listen and hopefully help.

Thanks,

Jess at Primetime

I bought this last night and was happy to do so. My main concern is your lack of marketing for the fight; how do you expect it to be a success when only the hardcore boxing fraternity are aware that it's on?

The first question the operator asked me was whether my Sky box was connected to a phone line, so it doesn't look good for you mate I'm afraid.

Hi Dan,

Cheers for your comments. I agree we do need some more awareness about the fight and we will be working on this. because it all happened so quickly we were unable to push it out as much as we wanted to.

Cheers

Jess

I understand, I'm just concerned your people may be reluctant to put out more shows if this isn't deemed a success. Do you think they'll give it another crack, with more marketing, even if this one doesn't do particularly well?
