This is a very interesting matchup but Sturm's punches would do nothing to break Abraham highguard and I can see Sturm getting discouraged once he finds out how hard King Arthur punches and how difficult he is now to hit.
King Arthur by 9th round TKO. |

I'd pick AA, but an in form Sturm is a tough fighter at 160. Sturm seems to be extremely inconsistent. When he comes in focused, he can be tough to beat. He is quite tight defensively, and will not be as easy to land on as say Edison Miranda.
Chances are, Sturm will stand in the pocket or on the end of AA's punches, and get caught with something big, or get hurt even through the high guard. If it goes the distance though, i'd expect this to be very close. Sturm is generally busier, and with both buys operating behind the high guard, clean shots will be kept to a minimum, making it a very tough one to score. |

Sturm would need to fight an absolutely perfect fight to win, something he's not capable of IMO. One Abraham bomb would be enough to hurt him badly and it's very difficult not to see him getting caught quite a few times.
It'll be interesting to see if Sturm's team actually takes this fight.. I will be a little surprised if they do. |
