They were less respectable to joe than jones really... I'm quite surprised that so many boxers are tipping jones... ESPECIALLY LACY!!!! You'd have thought he'd have been backing Joe to the world end really... I'd like to see Kessler's opinion on the fight... Would be interesting...

you know, the more articles i read - the more i have to ask...

Are we over estimating Joe, and underestimating Roy? To listen to the number of people backing roy, you'd think this was a fight where joe was only the slight favourite...

Obviously - it may be for hype, or any other reason, but so many people seem to think roy can do it, and can win big...

Anyone else got any insights on this? I have a few - but the amount of top class fighters, promoters, experst who are all saying jones - do they underestimate joe? over estimate roy? or are we doing to much of the reverse?

I think Roy looks old and is long done as a serious fighter. I have a feeling this will be nothing more than a glorified exhibition with Joe carrying Jones. My main objective will be to quickly switch off the tele after the fight before Joe makes any more of his sickening comments.

Obviously it would be fantastic to see Jones roll back the years and give Joe the beating he sorely deserves and also to show everyone how far apart in terms of talent they are/were, but it's not going to happen. Calzaghe will take a wide UD, outworking Jones with just enough power so as not to KO him.
