The reasons why Kessler thinks Hopkins is viable is for the reason that the networks will think this fight is viable; it's a fight that they would want to happen.

Who was more deserving than a Hopkins that just came off two losses at 160? Anyone who fought at LHWs top 10 really... Stop being an idiot.
Again, who in the hell do you think you're speaking to when you call me an idiot? Hopkins was coming off two disputed losses at a weight he was clearly struggling to make, there were no other outstanding candidates at 175, he stepped up and took the fight.

You keep using the word "handpicked" in order to make veiled swipes at Hopkins but by using the logic you do most fighters handpick. Kessler, understandably, wants recognition and money and a fight with Hopkins would provide that. How much do you think he'd get paid for risky unifications with Froch and Bute if the fights got made at all?

Don't think I don't empathise with where you're coming from but, as we all know, in boxing there's the way things should be and the way they are.

I didn't say you were stupid, I asked you not to be stupid; I wouldn't ask this of a person, who indeed was that.

We have already discussed this, and both agreed that many boxers handpick fighter. When most of Hopkins biggest fights are against people who were significant smaller than him, and most of them without decent punching power, then yes, they were handpicked - furthermore alot of them, due to hype were far better reward vs risk, than vice versa. Only an idiot thought that Pavlik would pose any problems for a Hopkins.

If Kesslers cares to be the best there is, then it is not going for a 43-year old way past it fighter. I can understand that Calzaghe wanted a money fight, but that is all these last two fights were. Money fights, nothing more, nothing less. Again, only an idiot thought that Hopkins and RJJ would win beforehand. However, Kessler has stated that he wanted the best - and he can prove that by beating those who are PRIME.

PS - please consider your own tone, if you are expecting to be answered in a better manner. Calling whatever a person has to say a rant, is not really working for you. And continously calling a great boxer Joke, indicates that you are trolling. So please sweep before your own doorstep...

I am merely stated what things should be like, and I am aware of how they are, but I am not happy about it. I think it is okay to show discontent, if you are. However, I am aware that I can't change the way of the world, but not voicing your discontent doesn't do anything good either. Since you agree to these facts, then we are on the same page.
