I thought this was a bit of fun, not homework?

I would have to fake the essay though, I guess thats the point?

give me a few days, I'll think about it, plus we have no idea if he is even going to fight at all yet.

Fuck it, why not, Im game for a laugh, its a deal Dan, all in jest mind you

In one post you gloat over how Hopkins schooled Pavlik, and then you call Calzaghe an opportunist, insinuating that he is picking on old fighters who can no longer hang with elite fighters.

Okay cool we're getting some names on the list now. Yup that sounds fine to me. We'll need to finalise some details though because if he announces his retirement you can't start backing out.

I also said I didn't think Hopkins lost, are you struggling to keep up here or something? Anyway I can see you want to drag me into a semantic debate, like on the other forum, I'm having a laugh with Peter now so can't be bothered with your nonsense tonight.

Excellent, that's the spirit. It's just like at school when you're asked to debate for an opinion you don't necessarily agree with.

If joe retires - i'll be happy regardless of what penalty you can think of. If he chooses to fight on, then it'll either be dawson or hopkins. if he fights hopkisn and wins comfortably OFFICALLY this time - i'll be happy as it'll shut up the crap about the first fight. if he fights dawson - i'll have achieved somewhat of a moral victory here. If Joe loses (doesnt seem likely but i get a horrible feeling every fight he has lately) then that's the only way i'll lose out really.

You don't lose anything anyway really mate. It's just sport and this is just the internet.

the internet is a part of life though :P

I lose if Joe loses - since the retirement of Shearer - he's my favourite sports fan, Fed is close - but a defeat for him isnt the same as a defeat for Joe.

But i still stand by my side of the bet.

What rounds did you give to Hopkins?

No need for the demeaning emoticon Igor, if you seriously want to know I'll happily discuss it with you though.

I did have the rounds written down somewhere. I'll have to try and dig it out because someone else was asking me about this the other day and I can't remember exactly now. I gave Hopkins the first three rounds though and I think round eleven.
