Default Part of me wants to see Hatton do well

Because of Floyd Senior! Don't ask me why but he's grown on me as a person, I think he's a real character and I get the impression he genuinely wants to improve Hatton and isn't just there for the money. Call me naive but that's the way I see it.

I also feel a bit sorry for him because of the situation with his son. Don't get me wrong, I would never claim to know the full story between the two of them and pass judgement on it but regardless it's still sad when father and son end up like this.

I know what you mean. Check this clip out:

And it seems like he has managed to get Hatton to move his head once in a while

I like Hatton as a person alot, and I feet his punching technique is very underrated due to him being labeled a hugger and brawler, but I do see that even at this late stage of his career he wants to improve.

Notice the first sentence of that quote. I wouldn't be upset if he lost, he's had enough out of the sport.

hatton will make the weight - loads of time to go, and he appears to be more dedicated to training than ever this time - no way he or fms will allow him to not make weight

That's true, but what about Guzman who was trained by him also, lol.

Hatton really is the one man that gets to me in boxing.

It gets too long winded (as you know), so i'll stop before it does!

Its okay Peter5, i think Hatton will win this one, i dnt see Paulie avoiding him well enough, and he'll get walked over trading.

I dont wanna make any enemies on here, being a fan of Hatton is fine by me. I only seriously dislike one fighter to this extent though in honesty.

Like i said before though, it gets too long-winded.

Teeto, hate all you want, its part of forum life, I was only joking. Hatton will win, not becuase Im a fan, but because hes better than paulie.

Put it this way, I put up with Dan-b hating Joe Cal, I just get used to it (in fact I was used to that at ESB)

Well if you were on ESB general then you must well used to the BS posters talk! Nothin i say can phase you!

I do want you to know though, im not a 'hater' in the stupid fanboy sense of the word, more of a 'hater' in the literal, dictionary definition sense! Sorry again!

im a real fan of boxing, probably like yourself. I understand acb only invited people over here that are.

I would like to see Hatton do well because I'm not crazy about Paulie, but I agree with your assessment of the situation with Floyd and Floyd Jr. That's just sad, regardless of who is at fault.

Hatton does seem to have likable personality, very down to earth and comfortable among his fans. He's not a hard guy to like.

Sweet avatar, Benny, although every time I see it I get mad at you for putting two into Carlito.
