I don't mean to be disrespectful to Sugar, at all, but at the moment I think that the only question is as to whether or not Sugar can hear the final bell. When I get into I may feel differently but right now I can't see any way for Margarito to drop an L here.

Fair play to Mosley for taking this fight. Stalking pressure fighter is hell for an ageing fighter.

Brooklyn, I hate when I click "Post Reply" and you got one avatar goes up, and when I come back you got a different one, gives me the fear.

I'm with you on this one. For all Mosley's natural gifts, he doesn't use them in a way that would make life easier against a big pressure fighter like Margarito. No effective jab, not much movement. And his fading reflexes have caused him to get hit more and more. To be honest, at this stage I think Cotto a superior boxer/mover, he just doesn't have the durability of Mosley. Mosley will get broken down after making it exciting early.

I think either guy can KO the other. Cotto would have to be extremely careful, but he also should be able to fight more in spurts as opposed to Margarito who made Cotto move and attack for 3 minutes of every round.

I agree with this. We find out about Cotto in this fight. He is in a fight with a guy who can KO him after a destructive, hurtful stoppage. Big, big fight for Cotto, this is the beginning of Part II, or time to open that nightclub.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit to see Cintron starch Cotto early.

If Cotto got KO'd brutally in his comeback fight, I think I'd cry this time

I won't lie; I'd be very sad.

Michael Jennings will get his ass handed to him though in February, and Cotto will pick up a title belt in the process.

Shit, I was so sad after Margarito TKO'd Cotto. I didn't wanna show up to any boxing forums for a bit, and stayed in the house all of the next day.

Yup, Cotto should tear Jennings up brutally. Good confidence gainer fight.

Ohh god, I can understand Mosleys desire to fight Margo but come on....
Offensively he doesn't have what it takes to keep Margo off him, that left jab will need to do more than just set up his right hand, he will also need to be fit enough to last the full 12 rounds (not just fighting in selected rounds) and judging by his last fight thats a big no. Even if i go into "suck Mosleys dick mode" I just can't see how he can possibly win this. Margo via UD 117-111

I have counted out Mosley more times than I care to count. He is like a cork in water, he can be be forced down for a while, but he seems to resurface.
