1. SRL-Hagler: 7-5 LEONARD
2. Hatton-Collazo: 7-5 COLLAZO (1pt lost by Collazo for KD) 3. Dawson-Johnson: 8-4 DAWSON 4. Chavez-Whitaker: 9-3 WHITAKER (pt taken away from Whitaker for lowblow if I remember correctly)

7-5 Hatton 8-4 Dawson 9-3 or 10-2 Whitaker...scored this fight MANY times...never been any closer than that, nor can I see an arguement on one. Amazing that one of the biggest robberies Ive ever witnessed was a draw...that is saying something. |

1) draw the very first time I watched it (which I hear is the most honest viewing). Since I score it 7-5 Hagler
2) 7-5 Hatton 3) 7-5 Dawson - only watched this one once and have been meaning to score it again 4) 10-2 Whitaker; this fight pisses me off |

7 to 5 Hagler sounds about what I had for Hagler vs. Leonard. I never really understood what the fuss was all about other than the 118-110 score. That was totally off the mark.
I'm not a fan of the term "robbed" but I can't think of a worse decision than Whitaker vs. Chavez. I think I only gave Chavez 2, max 3, rounds. I usually prefer to give some breathing room on close rounds, you'll hardly ever find me truly complain, but there wasn't much room to breathe on this one. I thought Whitaker clearly won. |

Im happy to see that no one here fell for Johnson's sob story at the end.

i was watching that fight on and off... dawson needed to work hard, was in major trouble - and a showed worrying signs of being able to be dragged into a dog fight he didnt need to. However he won the fight, closely - but just won. I'd love to see a rematch though - that would show exactly how good dawson is - can he show he can make adjustments - and learn from mistakes? can johnson do the same again - which raises more questions. It's a sensible matchup for a still slightly green (inexperienced really) young fighter.

He made the same mistake Cotto did. When he needed a rest he just ducked his head into the opponent's chest and took uppercuts. They both needed to either circle away/clinch/smother opponent by pushing them back.
