no no. you either misunderstand or ignore my question/point.
Pac is pushing his body beyond belief. Whether or not he wins this fight - the weight, the supplements, the physical strain on his muscles - pac WILL be ruined from this fight, win or lose. We saw what happened to Roy - it killed his career. Is a small chance of a win over De La Hoya worth a fighters career? worth a fighters possible well being? You're being blind to how severe this could be, he's likely take shots from the biggest, hardest punching guy he's faced, who's bigger in every strength of the word. DLH has the jab to punish pac, and the extra weight will almost certainly deprive him (pac) of his stamina later rounds, his power will almost certainly be less effective - and only bhop stopped dlh - pac wont have the same power as bhop, and the weight drain wont affect dlh as much as the weight gain will affect pac. dlh has been preparing for this for months - that was the point of having the forbes fight at such a low catch weight, he knew he might have to go to 147, and has been preparing for a while. You consider yourself one of pac's greatest fans - as a true fan, are you not at all concerned at the potential damage to manny pacquiao as a result of this?

About the story.. who cares. All of these stories surrounding the fight are silly and pointless to pay any serious attention too. The more boxing fans talk about this fight, the better it is for the promotion of it. That's the only reason this story was made. |

This is going to likely be a fight where people will not want to watch, but like a bad accident or disaster or something - they have to watch it happen.

Picked Pac over Morales in the third fight, over Barrera in the second fight, KO Solis, KO Diaz.. picked him to lose to Marquez. December 6th will be a sad night for you.
