More than anything this type of talk just says that Floyd is going to come back. You don't even need to talk negatively about him to get that reaction, so imagine what is going to happen when someone clears up welter and calls him out.

I have no doubt he'll come back. One, he'll probably need the money the way he lives his life and two, he needs the spotlight. The only question in my mind is who will he fight? If he wants the most money, then a few options are on the table: De La Hoya II, Pacquiao, or Hatton II in the UK. If he wants to fight the best, his choices are Margarito (if he beats Cotto again), Williams (doubtful he stays at 147), or Cotto (if he beats Margarito). My money would be on a De La Hoya rematch because I expect Oscar to stop Pacquiao in December, then Hatton in mid 2009

I used to like Mayweather a lot when he was at 130 and 135, but since then, he's really turned me off. Still respect his skills though. One of the best fighters of the last twenty years in that respect.

What bothered me the most about Floyd was how much he cared about what others thought...he's the one with his neck on the line, so stop caring. Boxing fans are the most fickle on earth, trying to satisfy all boxing fans will have you living like Ali. This is the hardest sport on earth, if people dont appreciate your sacrifice, then who cares. People give props to people like Tracy McGrady, Tom Brady, Albert Pujols without question, and they haven't sacrificed one tenth of what the average journeyman has.

Illmatic good post and that's why I think he is insecure. My thing is when he makes it rain in the club and all the other shit he does in Vegas. He only does it becuse nobody like him since day one out here. He was always loud and wanted attention. He never got it until the Gatti fight and people began to notice him out here. My boy Virgil got his ass jump by his crew along time ago over a female. But like I said before when he see me its all good. Plus I'm a friend of the family which is cool I guess. But its still nothing to brag about
