Gomez would outbox him handily. Much better with his footwork, defensively, and a better punch-picker at his best. The defensive liabilities of Morales would be his main problem, and I can't see him beating Gomez anywhere in the ring. If we're talking a post-Sanchez Gomez, such as the version from the Pintor fight, it'd be a war.

Gomez is just a better boxer, in pretty much every area aside from maybe chin. How much Gomez have you seen to be so clearly disgruntled at our picks?

Not alot and I havent seen alot of Morales either. But I have both fighters set, so I will check them out later. I just hate these kind of threads period. But I did see Sanchez whoop the shit out of Gomez and most of Morales towards the end of his career.

I've seen Kobayashi, Tirado, Lockridge, Nelson, Pintor, Sanchez, Cervantes, Holmes, Tamariz, and Zarate from that list.

I'd check out his earlier fights with Yum and Davila in particular to tell me what you think, as well as his fights with Zarate, Tirado, Cervantes, Tamariz, Kobayashi, etc. Most of his early work at 122 would be the best footage to check out. Same with Morales.

He'd have a chance. I think it would be disrespectful to any great fighter to say they have absolutely zero chance. It's is boxing of course, but I'd favor Gomez by a pretty fair margin. Anyways, I got the fights in and I'll send out the $ for shipping tomorrow. Thanks once again.
