interesting. I think Mayorga is shot (which is what happens after you lose to Tito), but should be decent while it lasts.

Angulo should win this by 5th round TKO, Mayorga hopefully retires soon.

I'm looking forward to this fight. Angulo's people aren't playing around, he's already fought Gutierrez, Tsurkan and now Mayorga with only 14 fights.

Am I the only one heavily favoring Mayorga here? He didn't look shot or even close to being shot against Mosley and he should be highly motivated for this fight. If he's at 90% of what he was against Mosley, I think he destroys Angulo. Mayorga's style is terrible for him. Angulo has a somewhat shaky, definitely vulnerable chin, a leaky defense, and a decent (but not big) punch.. he's not very quick, he can't fight well going backwards, and he likes to brawl. He's made for Mayorga, who still has a dangerous punch and a very awkward/effective bullying style. He's very physically strong and he'll rush Angulo. I think Angulo will panic and crumble after seeing how strong Mayorga is, how hard he hits, and how difficult he is to fight if you don't have good footwork and defense.

Yeah, they're taking some serious risks. This is a monstrous risk though and it's hard for me to see Angulo beating the Mayorga of the Mosley fight, so I can't believe Shaw is making this fight happen. I guess he wants Angulo to take Mayorga out before some other young fighter does and gets recognition for it.
