It's just my opinion, but i feel very strongly that Robinson would beat Hearns, i feel at welteweight that Leonard would have the best chance and the closest bout with him, but i still pick Robinson in that one.

Agreed doubly. Leonard, due to his chin and ability to adapt, has the better chance over Robinson. The chin of Hearn's wouldn't hold up to Robinson, and Robinson's would hold up to his.

Hearns would more than likely be drawn into a punch-out after Robinson is unable to deal with his long-range control. Robinson's chin wins out in that one. Would be a hell of a fight.
Leonard is one I've always given a pretty good chance at beating Robinson. |

The Duran that fought Leonard at 147 the first fight against SRR at WW seems like it would be an intense matchup. Thing is, I see SRR stopping him by round 7. Seems like a bad style matchup for Duran.

He's not conclusively the best ever H2H, though he'd trouble as many greats as probably any other fighter would style-wise. |

Hmmm, I could come up with a list, but it's still not a completely legitimate analysis, even if somewhat 'relevant' and fun. First guy that comes to mind is Tyson, style would be poison for Jones. Duran also, I feel a larger version of Hearns would be nasty for Jones also, as well as of course Leonard(though I favour Jones) and Whitaker, where I favour Pernell slightly. |

To me it was a toss up between Whittaker and RJJ. I went for Pernell. To me both were phenoms, one being a defensive master and the other a offensive master. Both were great in the opposites as well.
Someone who relies mostly on incredible reflexes and speed for their defense is in more dire straights, when those aren't up to par(not talking about by age). Pernell didn't rely on natural born gifts to be great, and was a tactical master - so I edge him out here. |

Well. Seems I came along just in time. The answer is "Sam Langford".

Hell yes. The guy has wins over ATG fighters from welter to heavy. The answer to the question, "which great fighter would beat the highest number of other great fighters", the answer can only be Langford. He has, and would, beat other great welterweights, middleweights, light-hevyweights and heayweights. |

For me it has to be Roy Jones. Although the argument could be made that he missed certain key fights his list of accomplishments is still outstanding. I think a prime Roy Jones from middle to light heavy is a handful for anyone & almost impossible to beat. There was a time, I can't remember the exact figures, when he barely lost a round. Even at heavy I would take him over a lot of fighter besides the elite who would have eventually over powered him.

RJJ sick power at 160 and 168 speed of a boxing god and threw combos defense was also underrated as well. Best H2H fighter of all time and a stylistic nightmare for anyone in history in his prime.
