5 fucking years?!?!?!?!? Barrera is my all time fav, but he doesnt need to comtinue, especially under the banner of that prick King. The worst night of my Boxing life was wathing Barrera get a beatdown by Pac in their first meeting, I dont want to witness Barrera recieve any more punishment than he should.

I'm with Peter on this one...5 years?
Awful, awful news. Okay, he's earned the right to fight if that's what he wants to do, but he's running on empty and certainy won't be able to beat the top level fighters at 135. A better option, aside from retirement of course, would be to return to 130 and face guys like Valero and Arthur. |

Brook, how would you have him doing against Valero and Arthur, if he did go back down to 130 instead? And what do you know about Yusuke Kobori if he were to fight him? Last edited by Peter5; 08-31-2008 at 02:37 PM. |

I saw this and still can't believe it. Hopefully it's not true and if in fact he did sign with King, hopefully it's for a year, not five. But even a year would be very sad to see. Barrera needs to stay retired, this is horrible.
