Mijares pulverises him if it's true, bad style for Darchinyan. I think Mijares stops him late on accumulation and sharply landed blows that Darchinyan doesn't see... Mijares has underrated power, he's not a feather fist at all, has stunned guys with good chins pretty nasty and Darchinyan's chin is suspect IMO. The difference between the Donaire performance vs. Darchinyan and the possible Mijares performance is that Donaire showed flaws and was not fully dominant, Mijares will flawlessly dominant every aspect of the bout like a veteran matador.
This is if the bout happens. I'm excited, another belt for a living boxing god. ![]() More and more I see Mijares getting popular with boxing fans and the media alike, very pleased to see this. Most people enjoy his masterful boxing as he gives much in the way of varied work and attempts. Making Munoz miss by slipping 5-6 shot combinations was a thing of beauty, then sending a vicious straight counter down the pipe, as well as consistent uppercuts... Yes, Darchinyan's getting another bad loss if he faces Mijares. Not a bad fight either, two well known lower weight opponents for further unification down there. Soon enough, Mijares will be the 115 undisputed champ with all 4 belts, now THATS exciting, especially for an awesome fighters who's been ripped off several times in his career.

Ohh nice I haven't been keeping track of the belts in that division. So will Mijares be unified champ at his weight division if he beats Darchinyan? What about Doniare doesn't he have a belt? |

Hopefully he'll keep this train going at the level he's at now and we'll be talking about his glorious, flawless victories for years after. |

He also stated that after he wipes 115 clean, he wishes to clean 118 and become undisputed there. Now that attitude is truly what boxers need. Mijares is the king. |
