Default Santa Cruz-Valero at 135

Assuming J.A. Santa Cruz beats the padded record Colombian Antonio Pitaula in a few weeks and Valero fights him for the vacant WBC lightweight title (like rumors have said), who do you think would win this fight?

While there's a realistic chance that Santa Cruz gets overwhelmed by Valero early and possibly blown out because of his shaky chin, I favor him very comfortably over Valero. He's very tall with a huge reach and he has the skills/abilities to not only school Valero, but take him out. Valero would be severely outsized and he would have a lot of trouble dealing with Santa Cruz's style.

Valero is most likely hoping that he wins the 135 WBC title and gets the opportunity to fight Pac when he needs a rebound fight after getting destroyed by Oscar. Fighting Santa Cruz would be a huge risk though.

theres a chance he gets knocked out dealing with valero's pressure just like how diaz did before. And i think valero is stronger than diaz

I really have little respect for Santa Cruz' style. Its like his arms are too long to throw anything but a sloppy, looping haymaker.
